“I have been looking for a good art class for my child for quite a long time, since he really likes drawing. However, most classes I found teach kids by offering them a sample picture, and then the teacher shows kids how to draw like that step by step. I don’t feel it’s a good way to learn drawing, at least not good for young kids. I think those perfections hurt their creativity, which is the most important for creating arts. That’s also the reason why I really like Bita’s class. She introduced different art concepts (like shading, light, shadow... ) and made them easy and clear for kids to understand. She offered them samples but kids didn’t need to follow, on the contrary, she encouraged kids to apply those techniques to their own creations.

For example, she didn’t teach kids how to draw a certain character, but showed them many ways to express different emotions, and then let kids group those elements together to create their own characters.
