Our bright, happy studio in Vancouver is open for another playful, joyous and freeing One-Day Arts retreat. Lighten your spirit with this beautiful fresh New Year’s immersion, creating in the arts connecting with a heartful community.
Our entire day is shaped to encourage you to find time to play, rest, rejuvenate your heart and find your personal expression/connection in the arts. For our workshop we will be inviting everyone to check their phone into our ‘phone hotel’ during the workshops to really free your spirit and go offline for a more restful flow.
Creativity is such a joy! The act of ‘making’ allows us to move weary energy and find our innate inner flow and glow once again - it is one of the utmost healing modalities in which to experience and return to your true self. We would love to have you join us in our studio for this enriching day together.

What is included?
A gentle meditation/breathwork session led by Madelyn
A light Vegan breakfast
Coffee, tea, Fresh juices, baked goods and fruit/yogurts
A wonderful workshop in Handbuilding with clay
learn how to hand build clay pinched pots exploring essential techniques with Ceramist Alexandria Thompson - pieces will be fired in the kiln and ready in two weeks
A fabulous vegan lunch
A nourishing Bowl from HEY KOKOMO/healthy juices/tea/organic sodas/
A wonderfully expressive painting session
Free your inner spirit in acrylics. The subject matter will be abstract/ florals - or your own choice of expression if you are moved to try something unique.
